Voice Commands
Call contacts and carry out device functions by giving a
voice command.
Voice commands are language-dependent, and you must set
the recognition language. Before using voice commands, see
"Language," p. 67.
In the idle screen, to quickly access the voice commands, press
and hold (
) until the voice commands list displays.

Voice Commands
Some functions that you can perform using voice commands
on your device are:
•
Call <Name> <Loc>
: To dial by saying a name in your
contact list, a name and a location (home, work, mobile)
or the phone number.
•
Send <Msg Type>
: To send a text, picture, or video message
to a number or to someone in your Contact List.
•
Lookup <Name>
: To open the contact record for any name
in your contact list.
•
Play <Playlist>
: To open a music playlist.
•
Go To <Menu>
: To open any application installed on
your device.
•
Check <Item>
: To view details of your phone status,
voicemail, messages, missed calls, time, signal strength,
battery level, and volume level.
